Here’s lonely planet’s flagship travel series 6 Degrees. In this episode (comfortably divided into 2 parts) we’ll see our own Mako Cunningham going out into the mean Bangkok streets in search of people in need.
Get a true insight into the gruesome madness Marko experiences every single day as a volunteer for the Ruamkatayu foundation, a private company in charge of providing emergency services, and often, body collection work for Bangkok’s never ending road accidents.
As if the work wasn’t enough, Marko and his fellow volunteers receive no payment for their efforts and time which makes this story all the more inspirational. At the end of the day, they are normal people just like you and me with an unstoppable need to help others in the worst of situations.
