Sponsorship
The Bangkok Free Ambulance Service (BFA) assists Thai and foreign accident and/or death victims, its primary service being medical care. The BFA also works with other foundations, police, government, communities, embassies, etc., in EMS care and education, deaths, fires, disaster relief, schools for the poor, Public Relations, translations and much more. BFA is particularly committed to assisting the poor and needy.
This year the BFA plans to purchase a new “Advanced Ambulance” and run an EMS/CPR/CCR education program for volunteers and the rural poor. BFA has many more programs and ideas for the future too and is only limited by the funds it may receive. There are presently around 90,000 volunteers in Thailand waiting to be trained in CPR alone. This will be one of our major initial projects, to not only teach CPR but to register volunteers as trainers to train others in their area.
In the last 10 years Marko Cunningham has helped donate food and clothing to over 10,000 people, taught First Aid and CPR to over 7000 people, helped over 6,000 accident victims, taken care of over 2000 dead bodies and much more. Through his own generosity Marko has been paying for an ambulance since 2004. However due to lack of finance this could not be continued; The BFA has not been able to provide an ambulance for the last 6 months.
The BFA needs US$200,000 to buy new ambulances and equipment to continue its work of helping the injured, teaching, training and helping the poor and needy of Thailand. If you or your company is interested in sponsoring the BFA in any way then please contact us ASAP! We are really in desperate need of your help!
Stage 1: A new ambulance to work in the Central Bangkok area 24/7 US$60,000
Stage 2: a 4WD support vehicle for First Aid/CPR education, Fire Rescue and Floods US$80,000
Stage 3: A Second ambulance to support Bangkok and rural areas US$60,000
Secondly, the BFA is looking for a yearly or permanent sponsor to provide running costs in order to work 24 hours, 7 days. US$1600 will provide the running costs of the ambulance, petrol, etc.
In return the BFA can provide you with a great deal of advertising, Marko has already been on CNN, the Discovery Channel, National Geographic and Every Thai TV channel, newspapers, News reports, magazines, etc. and will continue to be a newsworthy organization in the future such as the recent protests in Bangkok. Marko is a source of on the scene information and is often interviewed across all media. Advertising and logos on our website and vehicles are available for Major sponsors by negotiation.
If you can help in any way please contact us in the first instance.

Dear Marko,
Do you have an active NZ account? Email me with the details, and maybe, i can drop a word or two to my friends and colleagues at the university of Canterbury.
Cheers,
Kam
ขอบคุณที่คุณทำเผื่อคนไทยและอีกมากมายในโลก สุดยอด
Have you ever considered a Facebook appearance (a Fan page) and maybe a recurring option on PayPal, as it seems like you have a monthly operational cost. Of course a sponsor who can shell out $1,000 a month would be ideal, but I imagine every bit helps.
Cheers and keep up the good work!
Hi Lynn,
Thank you for your comment and ideas. We actually have a facebook page: bkkfreeambulance@hotmail.com
I will look into the Paypal recurring option too,
Kindest regards,
Marko:)
